Advance Filtration (AF)
(Advanced Ultra Filtration)

Advance filtration systems are pressure-driven membrane operations that use porous membrane for the removal of dissolved, colloidal material and large molecules, with pores of 0.001 to 0.1 micron. These systems differ from reverse Osmosis Systems by relatively low driving pressures, usually under 1034 kN/m2. Turbidity is sgarply reduced by 99+%. TF is an excellent means to remove metal hydroxides & can reduce the heavy metal content to 1ppm or less. It is a tailor made product.

Filtration methods adopted for water treatment is of following types:

The basic difference in all the methods mentioned above is in the pore size of the membrane used for filtration. The pore size decides what type of impurities is removed and the membrane choice depends upon the quality of water desired.

Recycling of wastewater at low cost
Less area required
Compact unit
Automatic operation
